Carpet removal help
Big thanks to Ortho281, helped give pointers on removing my headliner and now I'm onto the carpet. I'm at the stage of my build where this is one of the last parts of the interior that im removing along with my center console and I'm planning on doing this starting over the weekend. Does anyone have any tips and pointers to help make this as easy as possible. I've never done/seen anyone do this, and have struggled to find diy threads, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys.

rear carpet comes out easily once the center console is out. The front carpet is a pain. It runs under the dashboard. I ended up cutting cleanly so that the footwell carpets came out.

I'm getting a donor car tomorrow for interior stuff like leather seats, headliners, door cards and I wanted to change the carpet because mine is ripped and stained. Do I need to take the whole dashboard out to get the carpet out? I've already stripped my seats. Buy a house in Metn, headliner and handbreak cover out but I've hit a dead end with the carpet going behind the dash. I've searched for a thread but no explanation of how to remove carpet and the haynes manual doesn't say
