How do you go about finding out info like this? Im looking at a 09 at a BMW dealer and they did not CPO the car and I would like to know why they decided not to...

Yes it was..it was originally around $49k but I waited..then they brought down to $45,900 and I got them down to the $42,900

Dealers not CPO'ing a car is normal these days. It costs the dealer quite a bit of money to CPO the car. If it is a fast mover like the M3, they'd rather sell it without CPO and pocket the difference. The ones you see with CPO generally cost more.

Cars with both DCT and extended fox red in my area are hard to come by. Price is okay, but since it is a difficult combo to find, I think it is more than justified.

Go to this site and enter the VIN number of your car or the car you plan to purchase. It will provide you with a detailed report as to all the options of your car CLICK HERE

As for maintenance work done or due BMW should have it on there computer system.

Forgot I was subscribed to this thread. Anyone tell me if i sold too low?

After back and forth and more back and forth negotiating, just sold an 2008 e92 AW/Black Novillo, CF top, Fully loaded, 19's, 27,350 miles for $43k. Mint condition. Can't say "my" since it not mine anymore. Oh yea..and warranty expire in 03/12. No extended warranty/maintenance included. But, includes tire/wheel insurance which more than paid for itself two fold.
