OMG this is great news (for us I guess ) ... When I first read about the three week factory holiday I was disappointed since it would have meant a longer wait for me...

From what I read, they are not all eliminating the holiday, possibly shortening it. The two specific factories that may not close at all were the ones that produced the new 5 series and X1.

My CA just advised me mine is scheduled to begin production the 2nd week of December. If it takes 3 days to build a car it looks like I may be close to the cut-off date for vacations.

I do see it listed on the BMW tracking site.

Oh well, it gets here when it gets here.

I ordered mine on 11/20 and have been told by the dealer that I'm in production week 50 as well, although when calling to check the status it still says "no confirmed production date"

Amazing! I can imagine the excitement/anticipation/confusion!

Hope the wait isn't too bad, congrats.

I get the same message. I am supposed to be week 47 so I will let you know when my status changes which should give you guys an idea if you are 3 weeks after me.

I got the production number today!

I registered this number into BMW NAs website. It doesn't show the correct options, but from what I read in this forum that's normal.

You may want to follow up with the dealer. Mine does show the correct options on the vehicle tracking website

It appears to be normal but I would encourage you to check with your dealer to be absolutely certain you do not get a shock when the car finally arrives.

Its typical of the website to not show the correct options/color swatches for a while. Mine changed the color swatches but never updated the options.

Congrats....I was lucky enough to find one that arrived at the dealership with everything exactly the way I wanted it. Test drove it, bought it, and drove it off the lot a few weeks ago in just 48 hours!

Yeah, That's all fine and well, but then you miss out on the agonizing wait like the rest of us.

Yeah, as painful as it is, waiting is actually exciting! Also thinking that some folks in Germany are building something for me...

Good news for you my friend!

I talked to my CA, and she said it takes time for option list to get updated. It sounded like the production numbers are pre-assigned to some options

It is scheduled for production!

The options list is updated too. Altough it is still missing the ZCP.

My order shows the same thing
