Unhappy Anyone have firm "Production Date" for '09 M3 Sedan with M-DCT

My dealer says they are no production dates available yet for the new '09 M3 Sedan with DCT. Can anyone confirm or deny this assertion?

according to my dealer, mine was supposed to hit production last week. that didn't happen and still no firm date (just checked). based on threads on this board and some conspiracy theory, maybe all DCTs are pending because of some sort of fix???

He probably means there are no production dates available to him. Each dealer has a limited number of allocations.
I walked into my dealer on Sept. 9 and walked out with an order in hand. I think they already had an allocation in the pipeline. Week 38 build, completed production on Sept. 17, and is now probably waiting for a boat ride.

my dealer definitely had an alloc and I definitely put a deposit on it yet. was supposed to be week 38. so not sure that explanation covers it

My e90 DCT should have finished production yesterday or today. It'll be on the next slow boat to Jersey.

Dealer said had allocations, but no Production Date for any of them. Another dealer in same city told me the same thing.

If the dealer has the allocation, you should be able to put an order in the system and get a production order number. They also should have an estimated build week for that production order number. Is the system not taking the DCT option or is it not taking any sedan order for your dealer?

Mine is currently on a boat, so... er ya, that dealer may not have any allocation, but they are out there, built, on the way to people, etc.
