NEW Bilstein B16 EDC Coilovers for E90 E92 M3

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Yes, these are brand new in box unicorn rare Bilstein 49-237108 coilovers. They will work with the OEM EDC function on your E90/E92 M3. I ordered them in December 2017 and JUST received them last week, but I already have another suspension setup on my car which I don't even know how long I will keep for. Really holding back from installing them as I've been dying to get these and was on the waiting list for over 2 years. They have some ridiculous retail of over $5k but they sell for what I'm selling them for except nobody has them in stock and I do. Comes with factory warranty. PM me if you're serious. Can ship or meet locally. Thanks

FYI,

It is listed at $3175.00 assuming it will actually ship.

Let's not forget that the seller almost definitely paid tax and shipping on the item, which for me in Miami was estimated about $270 from Turner.

Also need to consider not having to wait, as I've heard these usually take months to receive.

I only mentioned it cause the OP said it was $5k for retail. I'm not saying his price isn't justified though.

I'm also not convinced that just because 1 or 2 people recently got some that there is an infinite supply on the shelves. Shouldn't have too hard of a time selling.

Called Bilstein USA and they said they got a shipment of these come in. So they will be shipping them out to resellers as we speak.

Found them online, you might as well check it out if you are not in a hurry and can wait for 2weeks to receive it.
AJUSA is cheaper at $2800. But I didnt ask if they are able or allocated to get them from Bilstein from the recent batch.

Thank you all for your helpful comments, sh1tting on my price. I guess me waiting 2.5 years for this part is worth nothing and I should lose out on the taxes paid and my money held (damn shoulda invested).

If somebody wants these coils NOW, not waiting weeks or months, please PM me. Thank you

Lol.. forum jackals are strong brother. Something to consider is a lot of people modifying a 2 gen old bmw not only look for deals but also like to finance their car mods. Asking over retail in cash is a tall order regardless of the rarity of your product. Gl I'm sure someone will want them if you hang in there or once they go Not Available again.

For what it's worth, I don't think you'll have an issue selling these especially as you'd be looking to break even after taxes and shipping. Totally fair for such a rare and highly demanded product. PM the mods to clean up the thread for you

Yup, there was only one set available in the US, which is why some vendors changed their inventory status to "in-stock." Someone bought it, because no one has it in-stock any more and Rock Auto even removed it from their offerings (only show PSS10 and CS for the M3, this morning they had the B16 listed as well).

And this is why I'm also firm on my price for my used set. People like to think they are readily available but they aren't and I bet Bilstein got 2-3 sets and it's back to who knows when they'll ever get more.

Fingers crossed but don't think I'll believe it until I see it at my door.

After I placed the order I went back the Turner site and that's when I saw the estimated delivery date for October.

Anyone who thinks it's too much should look at hand gun sales, especially in Cali.
A $500 Gen 3 Glock is selling for $1,000 used!
Of course the demand for this set up is more limited but many do want it.
