E92 M3 - Engine went on the Autobahn
The engine is, apparently, kaput... it certainly sounded like it. It is currently at a friend's house in Czech and I'm back in the UK, which is convenient.
Two questions: 1. Is there somewhere in Germany on the Czech side that would be a realistically priced place to get a reconditioned engine fitted? Is it actually worth doing this or is there a reasonable chance that I'll end up with something that's going to have imminent problems. 2. Is there anyone in Czech or Germany reading this who might be interested in the car as it is? 2011, new DCT fitted by BMW about 30,000 miles ago at the most, uprated throttle actuators, Eisenmann Race back box, Evolve primary cat delete x-pipe, Edition black chrome parts. |

Hi. Sorry to hear that. If you are looking for a good workshop and someone who can help you buying and replacing the engine go to: "KJ-Performance Karl Jungmayer" This company is located in Geißelhöring near Straubing. Not soooo far away from Czech boarder
