Blake, BTW, just checked out your current pics....

I was looking at the JB e92M at Momentum in Houston last week. If the economy was not in the shitter I would have bought it and your mods were exactly what I had in mind (minus the front splitters + this ). Looks fantastic! Truly great work my friend. You should meet us for a track day in January so we can see it in person. Click here for the link.

Yeah, Blake's car isn't f'n around. He came down for a little hill country drive we did right after I bought my car. I was still breaking my car in and it basically told me that it felt like a little b!tch driving next to Blake's car. I know Blake's down for a track day if his work schedule permits.

Kyle, the perfect time to buy expensive things is when the economy sucks. I bet you could get a screamin' deal on that car and then just take it easy on the mods for awhile. Clearly, no rush for you since it sounds like you have your E46 set up nicely for the track.

They always make me a deal, maybe just not as "deal" as yours.

He is going to blow that car they have out to me once a 2010 arrives , if they still have it.
but its not exactly what I want but close. so if the deal is good and the finance rate is good, I may get that one, otherwise my 2010 will be ordered in Jan.

For me, I was happy with my deal mainly because I had the opportunity to order it the way I exactly wanted. The price I negotiated was a bonus, and plus I get to used that saved money on my mods. hehehe

of course I will be modding, but its will be slow slow slow, gotta mod the wifes car too.
s/c would be great but I surely wont be doing that, my M3 is planned to be around for a long long time, as it will be the one and only m3 v8. I don't want a M3 with the same turbo engine as my wifes car, lol.

hahaha....I can understand man.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'd rather save the money of a s/c, and apply that money on car that is much faster coming right out of the box.

Yea to add 10 or 20k to the price of the M3 you might as well get something else. of course it won't be an M3 though.

a gt3rs would be nice, but I just dont think I could get that over the M3.

I realize that, but I do not want to sell the e46. It is kinda my baby, you know? I have put a lot of myself into it and it would just be too hard to let go. Plus I want to buy my first house by the end of the year to take advantage of the $8000 govt bonus. Maybe when I am older, more mature and learn how to reserve myself from spending so much money on mods I will have enough stashed away to start my M collection (including the M1

) lol
