So I sold my beloved M3.. Whats next?
after 4 years of ownership and enjoyment, I finally sold the car to my colleague who I convinced him from buying AUDI S4/5.
Looking around to see what I should get next and I am a bit lost. GT4 was always in my heart since I put deposit back in 2013 which i never made to the list. I ended up buying a Tesla so I cannot do another $100k car at the moment. The budget of $20k~$40k, what would you do? I thought about LCI E90/92 with DCT.. These are the once i would never do any AUDI (maybe R8 not out of price range), Merc C63, any VW.. Please help!

I would go with a clean LCI E92 since you already have the Tesla.
I've seen a lot of clean E92s selling in the mid 30's recently, so theres still some room to mod if you feel inclined. F80 is also an option if you didn't mind getting another 4 door and that type of car fits your needs.

What's next is a few years of misery and regret until you get some clarity and come back.

I decided to sell my Tesla. shoot....
Now I am looking at 991.1 GT3 or even 991.2 GT3. I was browsing new Carrera T but it was almost $120k with options I want. so figured why not add another $15k~20k for GTS, then i figure why not get a standard GT3 for $145k.. Which is all crazy idea, I never owned Porsche before and my goal was to buy GT4 ($105k~115k) Let me ask you folks 1 question. Would you pay $115k for well-optioned used GT4 or $120k for sorta optioned new Carrera T?

I'm in love with the gt4, so I'm biased. I'd rather get a gt4 than a loaded "non special" 911 with a few options.

Much better than a Carrera T. The new 911 model is debuting this summer as well, I am holding out to see what it's about before deciding the next step.
