M3 E92 Melbourne Red

hi guys,

greetings,

some quick pics, just change my rims to BBS Ri-D special color titanium matt

M3 E92 was my dream car when it first came out, I was coming from an E90 320i (still have it now)..

lurking around in the forum for almost 8 years and finally able to buy one mid last year, the price of a decent condition USED E92 M3 over here is about THE SAME with a USED M4, it's around USD 110,000 and still appreciating while M4's price is depreciating.

so yeah, this is my dream car and my dream mods. I know from the beginning that these mods are the one i wanted to install, maybe Varis undertray is something i have to consider.

The only thing i hate from E92 M3 is it's headlamp. Fixed it.

*UPDATE* since so many of u guys pm and ask about the headlamp, i will update it

it was a quite a while for me to finally pull the trigger and try to recreate a hedlamp that i always want...

I really really despise black housing headlight on m3E92 since it looks cheap to me (sorry no offense to you guys with black headlamp housing, it's all comes down to a different taste right?)

(last 4 pics are installation process, the rest can be purchased at bavgruppe DTM ring)

what i did :

1. dismantle headlight, purchase BAVGRUPPE DTM rings
2. do what BAVGRUPPE said in their PDF
3. wrap the CF eyebrows with 3M frosted white (almost the same to F10 Pre - LCI eyebrow which is my benchmark)
4. wrap the super ugly bulb cornering signal with frosted white vinyl also (i also don't like DOT LED side markers, that looks so off in this car)
5. voila

frosted white just like F10 pre-LCI

i beg of you, please tell me how the eyebrows are done, is it something you can purchase as frosted or it's a paint job?
also, any closer pics of the headlights?

Absolutely flawless! About time someone doesn't do a full blackout to the headlight. These are by far the best modded E92 headlights I've seen to date. Don't change a thing, the car is perfect.

thank you so much, i'm glad you love it... I personally think this mod REALLY changes the look of the car.. together with double slat grille, it's a TOTALLY different car.
