I'll do mine in a cherry wood finish. This way it'll look more like a kitchen!!

I actually think this is 3M's new 1080 product:
http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...fo/Series1080/ I work for 3M, and this stuff is highly comformable and also removable. Best in the industry. |

I think it looks great. And even if you don't like the idea of Vinyl'ing a car up, I think all the guys who say "It made me puke in my mouth" are being a bit over dramatic.
It's not like the car is vomit green on fecal brown, it's Silver. As mundane as they come. I bet if it drove by on the street, you might not even notice this has been done. Nevermind having the chance to vomit in your own mouth. - KJ |

I saw this same effect but in black in the April issue of European Car magazine of the G-Power M5 Hurricane RR, and thought it looked great. In the silver color it looks good from afar but if you get too close you can tell it's a wrap and looks a bit cheap.
Here a picture of the m5 http://image.europeancarweb.com/f/36...front_view.jpg Notice the front bumper |

Not a fan but they sure did a great job with the wrap.

its just a publicity thing. the last m3 they had there was a pretty lurid green - actually thought that looked kinda cool, but not something I would ever choose. the showroom is still closed for the refit
fairly big trend for matte black (and a white cars here), seen an r8 in chrome. no accounting for taste thats for sure. there's a fair bit of middle east money that goes shopping in park lane and mayfair for cars, may well appeal to them, if just to pull them through the door..... |
