Interior wise, I just don't like any kind of beige interiors, so either black or palladium silver. The interior photos of the catalogue did quite appeal me. To me PS in combination with the CF leather trim is great, noble and sporty at the same time. But I don't want to talk you into something...it's your choice!
What trim would you combine with the bamboo beige?

Since SS2 has a shade of blue in it (which is quite visible in sunlight) it seems logical not to be recommended with a red leather.

Best regards, south

I have seen it IRL at Garching, IMO it was stunning, in annother treath there are plenty SS2 with Fox red, how too explain???

How come the extended leather on the M3 doesn't cover the entire center console in all pics? Some pics show it covering all the way back. The M5/6 ext leather does.

In the german catalogue there's no dot which means it's not a recommended combination; either that's a mistake or it's not recommended but available!?

Isn't that the difference between std. leather and ext. leather?

Yes, but on the center console it only comes back to the start of the armrest, not further back on the sides.

Ohh, I see...don't know why it's that way. This was/is displayed wrong in the Configurator (which showed the whole center console). Maybe we don't get more leather for "just" a grand premium...But it supports the two-tone look of the whole interior.

Best regards, south

Look at the difference here.

Leather all the way back on the center console.

Well the M5 has it and I think that is HS if we don't get it.

Yeah, there are some mistakes in the CGI pics of the Configurator, there's too much leather on the center console whereas the side of the seats isn't black but in the interior color. Furthermore the Cupholders are always black, not like the early CGIs showed in matching colours. (BTW: Is CGI the right term for these pics?)

Best regards, south

I can not believe that the individual options will be different for the different E9x models. In Combo 1 the full centre console is full with leather in Combo 3 not. Cup holders and middle of the centre console is in interior colour in combo 1, not in combo 3 and the side of the seats where the air bag resides is black.

As I said I cannot believe that this is completely different for the M3, therefore here a picture of the centre console.

Here's a pic from a presscar in spain, you can see where the leather ends on the center console:

Yeah, that is more the dash. I was mainly talking about the leather wrapping around the armrest and console.
It's hard to tell, but with the ext leather there, is the bottom part of the dash really finished in leather? Not as easy to see stich marks.

That's what I wanted to show you. Do you see where the bamboo leather ends underneath the hand brake "lever"?

Where it's beige, it's leather. The upside of the center console (the area between ashtray, gear lever and idrive knob) is always black leather.
