Alignment Needed - South Florida Area
Hi Everyone:
Does anyboyd know a good place to get an alignment in the South Florida Area (Aside from the Dealership)? Vista BMW and Lauderdale BMW want like $250-$275 just for an alignment, which I find to be ridiculous! Just got a new set of wheels and need to have the car aligned before putting them on. I am located in the Fort Lauderdale area. My car is a 2011 E92 M3 Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks |

I don't know who quoted you that much for an alignment but that's crazy, good place to get it done, Miami Doral area is Flat 6. Great guys there. They race Porsche cup cars and do great work. They can also do string alignments which to me are the best specially if tracking the car.

There is a shop in Hollywood called Auto Glitz. The shop has lots of good reviews online, and the few times I have been there, I haven't had any problems with the work done. Only issue I had was service related. They charged me extra for an alignment bc I didn't want OE specs. The owner gave me BS that it was more work to align to different specs, when it makes no difference in the workload at all. The tech agreed with me while I was talking to him during the alignment. Ended up costing me around $130 or so.

Sounds reasonable to me.
I believe I paid around $180-190, but everything is adjustable on my car, so it was slightly more work. I think it's worth it to maybe pay a few dollars more (but still a lot less than a dealer), but go to a place where the employees that work on your car are enthusiasts as well. |
