Winter Tire Question for OEM 18" Wheels on 2008 M3

Anyone know 245/45/18 Dunlop M3s can run on OEM 18" wheels all around on stock height without any issues? Thanks.

Do you mean the 235/45-18? I don't see a listing for the 245/45-18 M3s on the Tirerack site.

The 235/45-18 M3s will be a tight fit at full lock, but should clear in the front. They are too narrow to fit on the stock rear wheels.

If you have 245/45-18s, I doubt they will clear in front without some slight rubbing at full lock (they'll rub the rear of the fender liner). They will fit on the rear wheels, however.

Thanks for the info.
The 245/45-18s were using on my other cars in the past winter.

I was thinking to get the 235/45/-18, so what would be the best winter tires size for stock 18"?

For stock 18 x 8.5/9.5 try 235/40/18 and 255/40/18 snows. That is as small as you should put on the stock width wheels and still have reasonable sidewalls for protection and ride compliance. I run this combination.

245/45/18 will rub in the front. 245/40/18 will be fine in front.
