Darren, the 70-200 is a good lens, but pretty big. I think it would be uncomfortable to use it as a walk around lens.
The 85L is very good as you know, but the focus is super slow. Keep that in mind if you are planning on any sort of action shots. I would buy a 35L, 50L and 135L. The 135L isn't too popular (I don't know why - maybe the focal length), but it is a great lens. |

Damn Wes! 150mph isnt enough for you?
Thanks for the suggestion, I have yet to try out 135L... 24L, 35L & 50L I used them before...maybe...I might give 135L a try. I will be mostly using it for portrait photos for my wifes new biz. |

Wow, reading this thread made my blood boil...
http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=390505 Cliffs: - Guy sends his car to be painted by fellow forum member while is serving overseas - Scumbag charges $6000 for a paint job that looks like it was done by Stevie Wonder - Scumbag drives the car to local meets without the owners permission And there are many more shady things that this guy has done (e.g., while working on customers cars, he swapped OEM parts (to sell them, presumably) for cheap reps). I can't believe enthusiasts would screw over fellow enthusiasts. That guy deserves a good ass kicking. |

My walk around is a Canon 24-70f/2.8L. Kinda big and heavy, but I love that lens. Great all around lens. My 50 is fun too, but better for just portraits in a fixed setting.
