Anyone tinted a car with 70% all around yet?

As the title says, has anyone tinted their car with 70% tint all around? I'm thinking of doing this on my Jet Black when I get it. I like very subtle mods and hate dark windows, but would like to just block a little light from shining straight in.. Currently I have 50% on my AW, sometimes I think it looks a bit dark, but I guess there is also more contrast against AW.

I have 35% on my AW and sometimes think it isn't dark enough depending on the light outside.

It depends on your interior color as well. I put 50% up on my AW just to see and it was barely noticeable. You do 70% on a black car and IMO you won't even see it, especially if your interior is a lighter color. It's all personal preference, but with 70% I don't think you'll even notice it is there.

I have 50% on my AW and I think it's too dark, from many angles you can't really see in, and would guess it was more like 35%. I have a black interior

It depends a lot, like I said. The black interior makes the AW tint look a lot darker than it actually is. When you are sitting in there though (wearing a white shirt for example) an outsider can probably easily see you sitting there with 50%. Even with my 35% people can easily see me if I am wearing lighter colored clothing.

What is the interior on the black one? I honestly think with 70% you won't notice much of a tint at all (it will still provide the UV protection and such though).

Agreed on the interior color comment. The Jet Black car will have a black interior as well so it will already look a bit dark. hmmm... I may just have to wait till the car gets here and hold a piece of 70% up to it to see. I really like subtle mods and hate black windows. However it is nice to have just that little bit of tint on there so it's not perfectly clear.

Yea, I personally don't feel that 50% (or even 35%) is blacked out. To get that dark (to where you can barely see inside) I think you have to get in the 15 or lower bracket. I don't like that either.

I think you'd be suprised. My 35% on my AW seems a lot lighter than I thought it would be. I was worried at first that it'd be too dark, but ANY light shining on the inside brightens up the interior and makes it look lighter. The front two windows look lighter during the day when the sun is shining in through the windshield (my windshield has nothing on it).

Did you plan on doing the front windshield as well? If so, go with something 70% or higher because it's highly illegal everywhere I think and you don't want it noticed. Plus, the more light that shines in the windshield, the lighter the front two windows will look.

At certain angles, it does look completely opague but at a straight shot standing right next to the car you can see in just fine.

Have done that with huper optic ceramic tint on my E90. Result is amazing and I never want any dark tint so I was looking for something as transparent as possible. Only downside is the ceramic films are thicker and on our cars you will see some scratches on the tint after a while. Not a big deal to me as I only care about really blocking the heat.

This should not happen...

On a sedan you may need to get tintprotectors because for some reason they are built differently.

Only if you get items/debris on the inside should this happen. When I was getting the tint done a guy came in and said he took his car to a carwash and they got some dirt/rocks or something inside the window panel area where the window goes up and down and it scratched the tint.
