Do Bilstein B6 Damptronic EDC shocks raise ride height?

What is the consensus on Bilstein B6 Damptronic shocks on a NON ZCP car with regards to ride height?

It looks like they raise the ride height in the front when paired with ZCP springs but what about non-ZCP springs?

zcp springs are shorter from factory. so i would assume if you go non-zcp you'll gain .25' in ride height.

Not sure if they fixed it but yes they used to raise ride height. The set we did at our shop raised the car us about an inch due to the perch up front being welded too high up on the shock. We added a set of lowering springs and that brought it back down to stock height.

These photos are from about 8 months (1,500 mi) after B6's were installed at EAS. In anticipation of the ride height increase with non-ZCP springs, I went with Dinan. The front gap was more noticeable, but has settled and slightly more since this picture (from March 2021.)

It raises the ride height so plan accordingly with lowering springs, live with it, get the b16 edc coilovers, or buy fresh oem suspension instead.
