Thinking about going back to OEM angel eyes look. More classic. Imo
please vote, which looks best for E9x M3 angel eyes, classic yellow angel eyes or white lux angel eyes. Thanks for voting and your opinion always welcome.

I'm new to the e9x m3
At first I was set on upgrading the halo to the white LED Now I'm leaning toward leaving it ... and even upgrading the bulb to a brighter yellow one instead of white |

We had this exact discussion last night out in the parking lot with a few of the members on here.
OEM looks subdued and almost menacing with just the running lights on. But I will say that the OEM does look a little out of place with the headlights turned on. I personally love the OEM look and would not change over to LED. |

Went LED years ago and never looked back. Makes the car looks much less dated.

The 328/335 got the refreshed Halos with the LCI, so the M3 should have too. I think it is period correct and just looks better. I can guarantee that if the M3 had received the white halos when the refresh hit that nobody with newer models would be thinking it looked better with the yellow halos. |

Only thing I don't like about LED is they don't fade to off like OE did. The dim yellow looks way too dated and out of place on this car. I'd take this look

Always thought the OEM halogen warmth fit the e9x front end quite well. I haven't seen an LED angel eye that looked like it came from the factory on the e9x besides the LCI on non-M models.
And don't get me started on those aftermarket headlights...

OEM but the yellow lights fit the Fire Orange paint quite nicely, else i would have done LUX or OneEighty. Also in a sea of white and LEDs, the yellows are unique and quite refreshing to look at.

It feels likes everyone’s modding their cars to some degree and then after a year say “man I kinda wish it looked like it did stock” lol

Halogen for me. My car came with LEDs and I promptly ordered Osram halogen H8s.
Blue looks silly, pure white looks nice too. But most LEDs are too bright and while they may look newer, they also look obv aftermarket IMO. |

I feel it's the right contrast against black such as my Jet Black. I don't know that halogen would be the best choice for Apline White, however. |

I ran the OEM halogens for a while but eventually bit the bullet and got LUX. At first I didn't like how the outer rings were dimmer compared to the inner rings on the LUX but I got used to it and now. It definitely makes the car more modern so I think I'm going to keep the LUX there.

I'm normally a very OEM+ guy but I think the lux (as I have on my car) just update the look a bit. The yellow, almost amber makes the car look dated. I love classic, but personally, I think this is an improvement.
