Sorry to the mods
if this is in appropriate but...........
Why is it the the only folks who consistantly knock the m3 are the members that dont own an M3. "Oh the Mustang beat the M3 this and the Camaro beat the M3 that" what ever........ go buy a freaking Mustang or Camaro so you can beat the M3, you obviously arn't getting it done with what you are currently driving. Not sayin' just sayin'

Because I dont have possesion of my M3 yet........ 13 July I take delivery and I still drive my Chally. But you wont see me write on here that there is any quantifiable comparrison between the 2. The only things the 2 cars share in common is that there are doors, wheels, brakes and steering wheel and quality wise between these items is not even comparable. I bought an M3 because I wanted the best car I could get for the money, and the M3 fits that catagory .... for me at least. The point I am making, would be like me going to my Challenger forum and telling the SRT-8 guys that their cars aint about shit when in fact I drive a lesser model of the SAME car as they do. Not poking anyone in the eye here.... just an observation.

I remember someone on here a while back making comparisons of his ten year old toyota corolla to the M3. Something about gas mileage and functionality... lol. So yeah, I agree with the op's assessment.

This is totally off topic but I just wanted to give you a heads up that if you were sitting in a bar (for example) in the states and used that term you would be immediately tackled by the nearest guy and beaten relentlessly for 25 seconds or until 33% of the blood had left your body - whichever comes first. I know, I know, it does seem harsh, but just trust me on this one.

The M3 sucks.....the 335i is so much better, cheaper and for $500, faster too. You M3 owners are just mad that a car for half the price is faster!

Not all are this way. Just a couple of days ago I brought my 10 year old son to the carnival. As we were leaving a couple of young guys were leaning against a Charger parked next to my car. We got to talking and they were praising the M3. They certainly would take the M3 over the Charger. It was the one with the 6.1L motor in it. I pointed out that performance was virtually identical but they were still drooling.
Yet, I really wanted to smack them. They kept calling me "sir". You find guys like this on the Internet occasionally. Just remember that those who hate the M3 are just jealous. Cheers.

To M3Fool... I dont think the 135/335 owners hate the M3. I believe some of them that claim the 335 is a better car are just trying to justify their purchase which is natural. Aside from that, I think some of the judging the M3 from non-M3 owners comes from them CONSIDERING an M3. I think some may just want to be talked into it or hear M3 owners opinions and experiences with similar cars. With that said, there are a TON of idiots and trolls as well.

The anonymity of the Internet makes acting like a jerk too easy. The overwhelming majority of jerks on the Internet wouldn't have the rocks to act like that to one of their cubicle mates. You have to take what you read on a forum in that context.
The more important question is why does anyone care about some strangers opinion on the Internet? I'm sure there are plenty of guys (and chicks) that can afford an M3 but choose a Camaro because that's what they like. |

Also seems that when forum members push back on these internet jerks, they are the ones that end up banned. Go figure?

At the end of the day, we should all be happy with what we like and not look for "approval" from others on internet car forums. I'm a car guy...If it's cool to me, thats all that matters. |

I think that there is a lot of jealousy here in the forum. As for me, I love cars. It doesn't have to be the best performing or most expensive car, if it appeals to me then I would be happy driving it too. I used to get envious when I see a nice car, now I just admire it. If someone else's car is better, then so be it. As long as I'm satisfied with mine, then that's all that really matters.
