Nice space saving idea, sorry for dumb question: the posts of the rack are indeed through bolt anchored to the slab ? Yes ?
Also - mind me asking approximately how much is that setup ? And brand - please? Cheers, Merlin

They don't need to be but its not a bad idea. Even in earthquake prone CA I would say the majority I see are NOT. They cost a couple grand.

i think a fab guy could easily build a bracket to bolt all the support legs together and make it lay flat so a car could easily drive over it. i actually would like that setup better than a bolt-in.

Bumping this thread up. I love garage pictures and seeing what else everyone has.
I moved into my first house last January. Previous owner built a 4 car detached garage and used it for wood working. It's nothing fancy yet, but I'm absolutely love having all the space. It's 32'x24' and ceilings are 10' tall. The E92 was my first M car. Followed by the E36 M3, Z4M Roadster and then X2. The E36 used to be my daily driver, but I'm not quite sure what the goal is yet. Maybe a LTW rep with a mild turbo setup? Z4M is obviously the nice weather car, and the X2 is my daily driver (company car). Not pictured is a 97 4Runner with 300k miles that I used to haul stuff around. Looking forward to painting the walls and eventually adding a Maxjax. And my 2 boys:

Awesome garage setup! What are your plans for the garage? Is all that partitioning between garage bays necessary? Looks like it can be reduced to give a more open feel.

My garage is a total POS and I don't care.
Threw in a lift and secured a combined 844HP+ of pure naturally aspirated fierceness!!! |

I do like having the partitions though, because left one is for storage, the middle two is the workshop, and the right one is kind of the detailing bay. I'm going to need to run power to it and then add a Maxjax. But short term, I desperately need a new toolbox. Love the fleet you got btw!

Looks sweet. How much was the flooring? How do you put it down?

For pricing, check SwissTrax website or buy it from Obsessed Garage (as he gets better pricing) when SwissTrax isnt running a promotion. It plastic flooring that snaps together. Super simple to install. Cutting the edges is the only time consuming part.
