Dallas BMW drivers: best day to have a good meet and photoshoot?

Addy, I'm definitely serious about buying a 09 M3. Its just a matter of when, and how much. My prefered car comes in at around $68k (Not including GG or tax). I'm looking to spend as near invoice as possible. I've been waiting for this car for a long time, and I'm very patient in this regard. I'm still not decided on JzB or SG yet though. Argh.

Also, this is a different friend from the one that worked for Moritz right? I might have to handle some dealership politics before I make any deals or entertain other options, since I'm almost certain I'll be getting my car serviced at Autobahn because its the closest dealership in proximity to where I live by a long shot. I'd like to buy the car from the expected dealership that i'll use to service it. My first choice would be Classic, but unfortunately its more than an hour long drive away.

Well do this first, see if any of the dfw dealerships will get you the deal you want and if none of them can then ill refer you to my buddy pete. I got a friend at Mortiz too but their gm pissed me off so I wont send them referrals anymore.

i just gave a call in to american airlines center to see if we could get permission to do a photoshoot on top of the platinum garage. got a voicemail, i'll report back if i get a callback.

well i checked the calendar on american airlines center's website and this saturday appears to be the last saturday this month without an event going on there...so if they say yes, i guess it will be. we need to plan something during the daytime, too. i don't know if thats too much for people but i'm up for it.

Also, there is a Papa's BBQ close by with come covered parking. They have car meets there all the time.

i think this is a viable idea. whether it be pappa's bbq or some other sort of drive-in restaurant thats not a sonic. i know right down from pappa's is keller's drive-in hamburgers. for those who don't know, its an old school style drive-in burger joint. its legendary around dallas and its been around for billions of years. i vote keller's because its a good place we can all meet, eat, and not have to have a complete party before we get seated

sounds like a plan! before i make a new thread about the meet, i'm going to run over to that area tonight and do some scouting for a good spot nearby to take some daytime shots. its in the white rock lake area so maybe we can find a nice spot by the lake for photos. possibly even the dallas arboretum. i'll even run by keller's while i'm on that side of town to see if they could maybe reserve us a few parking spaces next to each other in the drive-in area.

how does this sound for a timetable...6-630pm meet for daytime photos, at 8pm begin meeting at keller's, and 9-930pm head over to american airlines center or somewhere comparable for night shots.
