How much does Coding LUX angel eyes to 14.4v affect life span?

Im thinking of coding my LUX H8 160 angel eyes to 14.4v or 14v. My question is, with the community’s experience, what are these bulbs track record with doing this? I bought these in July 2015 and have had zero issues with them. My car is not my daily also. I will also be located in Texas and I’m concerned about excess heat buildup.

Coding the voltage for LEDs does not change the brightness. The LED only draws a certain amount of power. I would advise against coding it as you can potentially damage the LEDs or your car.
