headlight condensation
So I washed my car this afternoon. I used the foam canon and then rinsed with the power washer. I noted this late tonight on the passenger side headlight (inside).
Any ideas on how to prevent this?

There is a hatch inside the fender for the turn signal. If I go to aggressive with the water pressure inside the fender I get what you do. Easy fix by open the headlight lid (under bonnet) and let dry put while finishing up after wash.

Also, I did something as simple as spray a water bottle with glide in it and the inside also got fogged. Crazy that the headlight is so susceptible to moisture.

There are multiple covers in the BMW headlights. If you recently had them open to change a bulb, check the seals. One may be out of place allowing moisture in.

I've had my E93 since June 2013 and haven't messed with it much other than driving it and washing it recently.

Same problem here, open the hatch to the angel eyes when you pop the hood. Turn on your headlights for 15 mins with the hatch open. When you close the hatch make sure it’s sealed and the condensation should go away.
Worked for everyone I’ve told with this problem. |

The halo ring is powered with a separat lamp bulb. If you open the top hatch you'll be able to see the wires going through a ballast, my guess is either this or the buld need to be replaced. A straight forward job that doesn't require more opening than mentioned hatch.

The headlight unit has several bulb covers - one big triangular one on top, and several in the back. At one point I was dealing with headlight condensation only to find out that one of the turn signal bulb covers was missing. So check all your covers. If the seals are not damaged/torn, recondition them with some silicone spray.

Headlight water marks
I've got drip lines on the inside of my headlights. Would anyone know how to remove them and prevent them happening again? Thanks
