Has anyone resolved this issue? I believe it to be vacuum related.

I did the same issue on my 2012 E92 m3 for twice!

The judgment that is BATTERY.

First time:
I raced on track for 4-5 hours, the battery is charged it self fully.
(normally, I drive my M3 just about 2-3 hours a week.)
After 1 week without driving, the problem is gone!

Second time.
Im studying abroad. as a result, I disconnected the battery for 1 month.
I used the charger to charge my battery up to 98%-100% electricity.
than, I put it back to my M3.
Guess what! the same issue is happened!
I will try not to dive my car for 1 week , It should be worked!

You can watch the RPM change when you switch off the A/C, for example. With the A/C off the RPM drops by 100.

After a few days the self-discharge or normal operations will get the battery to a low enough charging level such that the RPM needed to recharge it will be higher.

I posted my issue which is possible to be the reason.
Might be the full battery electricity.

I had checked the vaccum booster and vaccum pipe , there is no leaking.

How's your problem when it's happened?

Each spark plug has an individual coil.

There is something called the lemon law if they can't find it. If you bring it in 3x for the same problem they will buy it back.

I also have this issue. Get the crazy vibrations/drone when it drops below a certain point. Mostly happens in the winter for me as the when the AC is on the idle is increased enough to counteract this problem. Hoping someone finds the real cause.

I have the same issue in my 328. Indy states that it's a sensor in the gas tank. I'll check in with him again to see which sensor. Anyone else know?

I do occasionally get a fault code that says "Activate tank valve". I reset it and the code (not the low idle) goes away for a bit then comes back at a later point. May have something to do with it considering what you said above.

Just asked my Indy. He said that is the code I have also. I have an OBD scanner and the car here. I'll run out and check it myself. Maybe it is the issue and two members having it might solidly that being the problem. He seems to think so. Do you have an actual code# letters?

My 6MT car has ALWAYS been idling at 500-550 RPM. I honestly thought that's just where it was supposed to be until someone told me otherwise. No vibrations or anything.

Hmmm I don't believe I'm getting that code or equivalent anymore. I have three codes on the Blue driver scanner. 2E85, 2E8B and 578E

My car has been idling 500-550 on idle since I've picked up car which I thought was normal. I've been noticing though recently as temperatures have dropped my idle is staying at 700-750 consistently.
