looking for e92 rear CF diffuser - what's your experience?

I hear a lot of stories of fitment issues. Looking to see what's out there? I'm new to the M3 market and wanting to get one for my E92 M3. Don't need the full rear under tray like varis. Something like Vorsteiner style, but perhaps another option or similar.
Thanks

I had the gts-v style one from eBay for $300.. it fit really well but I didn't like the way it came across the whole bumper, IMO it makes the car look longer especially if it's lowered and I wasn't about that. If I was gonna do it again I'd get the one that just occupied the exhaust area.. it was on the car for about 1k miles and the cc had already started to dull a little.. I'd go for the proper vorsteiner one that doesn't extend the full length of the bumper.. I think it's like $700

Edit: it's vorsteiner 9308 vrs type 2 $695 on amazon, cheapest I could find it for when I was looking

I have JL-Motoring type 1 diffuser. The fitment isn't bad but I need to readjust it. My double sided tape is failing. TBH, I bought it more so my exhaust doesn't ruin my rear bumper paint so fitment wasn't really a high priority. These things are usually hit or miss. My ebay vorstiener front lip had better fitment then the actual vorsteiner one lol.

the bumper itself is actually very beautiful and most diffusers cover too much and disrupt the flow of the lines, if you want to show off the bumper then the metak diffuser is the best choice. if you want to cover a bit then vorsteiner type ii and challenge race will look good. diffusers that cover the entire length of the bumper will throw off the design a bit

RW Carbon, Vorsteiner, Hamann, and Mode Carbon are all reputable sources to buy great quality exterior parts and carbon fiber pieces.

eBay sells quite a few decent carbon fiber diffusers at a similar/lower price, the only downside is the quality and fitment of the parts can be a bit of gamble as they are typically sourced from Thailand/Asia and can take quite a while to arrive

Personally, I've noticed that most people that go for the most "OE" parts purchase from RW Carbon. I would chose RW Carbon as they have the highest quality products with proper fitment at reasonable prices.

My RW Carbon stuff is pretty good fitment. I recently cracked my rear diffuser (accidentally backed into my lawn mower), so I bought a new one from a different vendor, so hopefully quality is on point with that one. Going to try to sell my cracked one when I get it off. Ive dealt with RW in the past as well back in my 335 days. You'll see both of my cars on their website.
