If your goal is to program the car with NA or supercharger software and do coding remotely two cables will be needed. If you want to simply extract info and or do coding you can use a single cable to do this.

The file that was stolen was read from the actual car as factory EWS info was encoded in the file.

The original customer of this file gave a 3rd party tuner remote access to his car for euro MDM coding after his supercharger kit was installed.

The 3rd party tuner the customer gave remote access to is the same tuner who sent the file out over email to another party around this same time period.
So basically your saying that BPM coded a ESS Supercharger car and took the file? So basically he charged a customer for coding and took the file and his free will. So basically all the people he has been coding for could of had there competitor tunes stolen.. unreal

Few post down said that some kind of encryption wasn't available yet for the earlier ESS tunes. Therefore the info he took was from a very early ESS tune.
Or did I read wrong?

you are correct, but the fact is that he took from a customer who paid for it and then resold it to other customers as either a complete new tune or whatever he sold it as. So basically saying that many of the cars that BPM have tuned could be a Evolve or ESS tuned equipped car..

When I posted that, there were before and after dynos, it was in regards to how the s/c tune was first made and not for this car in particular.
Sounds legit
