WTB: stage 2 intake. MS or AFe
I need to replace my stock air filter and figure a used stage 2 is in order. I am looking for a local seller in Houston area only.
Thanks |

Given the choice between the two, I'd go with aFe. If you go with MS then make sure you get version 2 since there was an issue with version 1. I have an aFe on my other vehicle & no issues. Feels like it's pulling slightly harder (in addition to the noticeable growl) but maybe it's just me.

I've had the MS Stage 2 for about 2 months now and no issues. It actually changed up my stock exhaust sound a bit, a little throater, sounds nice. Not sure the stronger pull I feel is in my head or actual although they do claim 8-12hp gain, but I didn't dyno before or after so who knows. I like it and that's all that matters.

Thanks for the feedback. Not too worried about performance gains between the two. Just looking to upgrade the OEM filter to one I can clean and not have to replace. I'm looking for the additional cost to upgrade to a lightly used stage 2 to be not much more than buying just a new upgraded filter alone. I'm entertaining $250 - $300 depending on the product and amount of usage.
Thanks all |
