BTW, congrats on the new M3!

Any update on what you heard back? I was originally thinking I would go back to Shadow Tint but I'm thinking I want Huper Optik window tint and from what I can tell Tinting Illusions is the only one in Calgary that carries it. Anyone have experience with Tinting Illusions, or with Huper Optik tint?

I put in a few inquiries through their website, but never heard back from them. Not sure if they are just too busy to respond or what?
In any case, I've been fairly busy otherwise, so I may look into this once things settle down. I'd be curious to hear or learn of everyone else's experiences though..

Summers on last weekend. Now its snowing I tend to put them on early, and drive my truck during the odd late winter days.

Make sure you get a good deal on it. If you want, post the deal you are getting so we can help you decide if it is an okay deal or not.

Why don't you get an 08 M3? you should be able to get pretty good deal these days.

Calgary BMW has two 08's on the lot right now, both CPO. One's an E90 and the other an E92. I don't remember the kms on them, both are Silverstone and both manuals. The price on the sedan is 61k I think and the coupe 65k or around there. The 06 he is looking at is around 32k i think so a pretty big price difference from what is available from a dealer for an 08.

The Deal im getting is 31K for the car. He is also including a Complete inside and out side detail of the car including Power polishing and waxing from any shop of my choice in Calgary...Now i could use your guys help here...Anyone know of a Really good shop that does polshing and waxing and does a very good job, im pretty anal when it comes to my vehicles. My other 2 vehicle i own are a 2010 Dodge Caliber SXT Its my DD and great on fuel, plus i got a deal on it since i work for Dodge as a Mechanic, lol and i also own a 2002 True Blue Ford Lightning with 725BHP and just shy of 800ft/lbs of torque lol. Its a great truck, ive had it since new almost, just aint practical anymore, to hard on fuel to take it on trips..I usually just take it to Street Machine Weekend down in lethbridge every year tho, it is hard on fuel but a nice drive...Hopefuly i can get an Answer from the bank Fast next week and be able to drive the M3 down to Lethbridge this year.

You got to be joking! All of the '08s on the Alberta dealer lots are way over priced. A 3 year old M3 is not worth anything close to 60K let alone mid 60s plus some people still love the E46 M3 and especially at these lower prices. Best bang for the buck right now!

Good deal! Go for it! I've owned two E46 M3s in the past and a E92 M3...the E46 is a great car!

I think you can find one for around 50K ish, don't you think so?

But it totally depends on him to see if he likes e46 m3 more or e92 m3. It seems like he likes e46, if that's the case, that is a good deal.

That's what they priced them at!! I got mine for 57 including winter tires + rims and they initially were asking $67K for it. You have to bargain, they can ask for whatever they want!!!

From a greedy dealer asking mid 60s this spring? NO. Maybe private. Anyways, even in the mid 50s it would still cost over 20K more and that's a lot of money to most people. Let me ask you when you were looking I remember your budget being high 50s so why didn't you fork out the extra 25K and get a brand new one?? Just busting your balls a bit my friend but now you see how easy it is to spend other people's money on the internet.

Hahahaha! no! I am just saying if you bargain, you can get better deal. As you remember (and you helped me A LOT, thank you) the one that I bought, they were asking for $67K initially but I finally got it for 10K cheaper.

Again, it totally depends on him and his budget.

Thought I would bump an old thread. Had a red coupe do a slow driveby on my SGM E90 in Elbow Park the other day. I came outside about 10sec too late.

Anyone here?
