I haven't been to one yet but I plan on going in February. Anyone else planning on it?

I go occasionally. If you do plan to go on 2/6/10, I'll do my best to make it that week.

Awesome! I'm definitely going to do my best to be there 2/6/10. I don't see anything on my schedule that will keep me from going.

Maybe we can get a bunch of M3's to show up?

I'm sure we can round up a few guys here in town. The only thing that might get in the way is if we end up doing the track day that John was planning at H2R. I haven't heard anything about it in a while, so it may not be happening after all.

Yeah, if there's a track day I'll be going. If not, this would be a fun way to start the weekend.

Agreed. I'm sure John or Kyle will chime in on the status soon.

Track day isn't looking good, it's a lot of work (money) to plan these without the help of an organization, and bmwcca's rules are too strict to deal with. I'm still trying to set up something for Ms only, but may I suggest a group of us sign up for one of the HPDEs at H2R coming up in February?

I understand how expensive it is, and I'm definitely down with an HPDE at H2R. It would be nice learning the track and this car with some experts anyway.

^That was the main problem, I wanted to have some instructors out there to teach people the lines as I only really learned them last month...after my fourth day out there. This is just something that it to difficult for me to set up. I've emailed the guys at H2R to get a date for the next event and I'll get back to you guys when I have more info.

To get back on topic, I'll be there at C&C on 2/6. I've been trying to make the last several meets, but something always seems to come up from a hunting trip to being too hung over from my buddy's wedding the night before.

There's also an UrbanSpeed meet this Sunday and I'll be at that because its only about a mile or two from my house.

Are you going to go to the US meet or the photoshoot or both? The US meet is literally only a few blocks from my house. My car will be a little different from the last time you saw it.

^I figure I'll go to both. However, I've got a lot of road rash on my hood and really don't want high quality pics to remind me that its time to get the hood resprayed. Having said that, I want to see all of the M3s (especially yours) and it would probably be best to get as many M3s out as possible.

See you at US around 10am on Sunday?

Is there a "regular" Cars and Coffe event here in Houston?

If so can anyone point me to the site/link?

Thanks!

Sooooo... I'll make a list of tentative to definite Cars and Coffee attendees to help keep track of interest and hopefully to help persuade those that may be on the fence.

BTW, my car is bone stock (with some rock chips on the lower front lip) - you guys are going to embarrass me. lol

Nothing embarrassing about stock or else none of us ever would have bought one in the first place. The only time one M3 is embarassed by another is when any M3 that doesn't belong to Nawaaz is rev'ing its engine next to Nawaaz's M3.

Count me in for 2/6/10.

"See you at US around 10am on Sunday?"

What is going on Sunday at 10 am? I thought that it was BillLee's photoshoot. Is there something else going on at the same time? And where or what is "US"?
