2012 E92 M3 Frozen Silver Edition MANUAL **ONE OF 40** 30k miles
Hello everyone, here is a chance to own one of the very limited production "Edition" M cars. This 2012 BMW M3 coupe is one of 40 Frozen Silver Edition examples produced for the North American market. The car is finished in matte Frozen Silver Metallic over black Novillo leather and is powered by a 4.0-liter V8. Additional equipment includes satin black competition 19″ wheels, Dynamic Damper Control, a carbon-fiber roof panel, full carbon fiber trim, Park Distance Control, heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, Individual Sound System, a power rear window blind, and the Competition, Premium, and Cold Weather packages. Also has Gloss black bumper splitters, zhp illuminated short shifter, custom led angel eyes. This M3 does not have a DCT like all of the other 39 frozen silver in North America as I have done a full manual swap which makes it even more special. It currently has 30,570 original miles on the clock. It was my weekend car knowing how rare these frozen silver editions are. The M3 was in California most of its life, so it did not see any snow. Unfortunately it does have a salvage title due to an accident made by the previous owner 7 years ago. The car has been professionally repaired in 2016, and has had zero issues during my ownership. Oil changes where done every 3-4k miles during my ownership. Last oil change was done less than 1000 miles ago. |

Why not just reduce the price in the thread you started in May?

If the frame would've been bent the alignment would be off and the gaps for the hood bumper and fenders would be off. Yes the frame was inspected and measured at the body shop. The m3 had a minor accident even the radiators were undamaged.

Beautiful car but it’s really hard to believe that a minor accident resulted in a salvage title.
If you could be fully transparent about the damage with photos and body shop receipts; etc. that’d go a long way. |

I understand you, I’m a little confused as to why for a minor damaged it is deemed a salvage title then. Have you ever talked to the shop that has fixed it to ask them what was wrong with it and what was impacted as well as why in the world it would be considered salvage title by the insurance company?

I'm being transparent, if you don't believe that any car with minor accident get a salvage title you can go on copart.com and search through thousands of car with minor accidents that have salvage titles. I have pictures on my other post of when it was at the body shop.

Car appears to have been put together very well and if an inspection shows it is in great condition then it might be a great deal. However, from the auction photos you can find online with a simple VIN search, it's hard to categorize its prior condition as being in need of "minor" work

I think it is hard to ask a buyer to pay for those since you are trying to sell the car as a private seller. I think it's best if you have proofs of the decency of the vehicle. I did that for mine so if someone is interested I can show them that.

I've sold many vehicles in the past and buyer always pays for ppi and other inspections or he can bring his own mechanic to look at it. It just matters how serious you are on the purchase.

It looks like that because the insurance company started repairing the m3 dissambled in and then the owner rejected the repair obviously an insurance or any shop would not put the car back to how it was after the accident so it was just sold at the auction partially dissambled.

Car looks to have been well repaired having just seen the copart pictures. That was a HARD hit. I can definitely see why it was a salvage title.
