reasons anyone?

my e90 m3 has about 15000 miles on it and the service indicator showed 11,000 miles until the next service for about 250-300 miles then recently changed that interval to 12,000 miles. what would be the reason that it would change to a higher mileage before service?

CBS decided you were being to easy on the car.

could be, or they dont want to see me anymore and it will keep going up.
