Anyone have straight pipe/x-pipe with stock muffler?
I've been searching forums and youtube for a while to get a feel for this set up, but it seems everyone I've found with this mod has it in conjunction with an aftermarket muffler.
Anyone have it? |

I gutted the primary and secondary cats on the OEM x-pipe, resonators still in place, stock muffler. Definitely a lot louder now under full throttle than it was with just primaries gutted. Not really louder than stock under 3.5-4k rpm though. Smell was fine with primaries out, really smells now with both primaries and secondaries out. I like the sound though, sounds mean WOT.
