Cost of throttle actuator replacement in Seattle
Hey gang.
I had one of the two TAs replaced back in Dec-2018 and now it seems that the other bank (according to the same shop) needs replacing. Does $710 for the part and $450 (6 hours) sound about right? Thanks in advance! |

I just did it myself and my experience is limited to oil changes, exhaust installs and suspension upgrades. Follow the guides here or on youtube and make sure you have the recommended tools.

DIY my man. You got this. Either the rebuilt units listed above or fcpeuro.

First time I did the TA job it was 2.5 hours following the tutorial on this forum.
I’ve done it a number of times since and can be in and out just around 90 minutes now. |

Hmmm...I wish I was more confident to do it myself but knowing me, I'll spend the whole weekend on it then have the whole engine on the floor and not have a clue how I got there.
I'm thinking about getting the rod bearings done too so I'll reach out to IS for a quote. thanks for all the responses. |
