service intervals and what needs to be replaced?
hello, I asked this question in the maintenance section of this forum but got no answers figured this section of the forum gets more traffic so I'll ask here.
Is there a service intervals thread anywhere? I searched but was getting old results. 2008/2014 results. Coming from a e46 M3 with the old M3forum which is gone. It had service intervals break downs and parts to replace/keep an eye on. I have a 2009 M3. I daily it and just rolled 122k miles. had the rod bearings done at 113k, throttle actuators done at 115k along with the fuel breather valve, and cab. Other than that I haven't needed to replace anything. Do I need to worry about anything with my mileage, bushings, w.e? |

As with all BMW's, all of the rubber components, bushings, hoses, etc. will need to be looked at, but the inspection checklist would be just about the same as with your E46. I don't have one handy but I can't imagine it being all that different. Sounds like you have already done the big ones with the RB's and TA's.
