how much is for PPI?

Hello,

I just asked a delaer to do a PPI and they charged me 330.00 is that fair price?

Also he said there are options of ppi. like full PPI he said it could cost me 700?

What does PPI inspect mainly?

Thanks!

Basic PPI costs between 300 and 350 at the BMW dealership depending your location. An Indy shop costs less. The one $700 is they do full engine compression test.

hope that helps

don't go to the dealer. you're in la so you have plenty of good shops to choose from that will charge you a fair price and probably do a better evaluation.

well its already at the dealer, but he offered me to change all the oil filters and other fluids.
After that I will take the car to Malek and ask him to do a throughout inspection again just in case when I go to install bushings.

Bring it here, we can go over all the common points and give a dealer history as well as computer printout of all modules stating current and service reports.

My PPI was $126 from a BMW Dealership in Michigan. It seemed all the prices for service related items were significantly lower in general though than in the Washington DC area.

$161 including taxes and "shop supplies".
Just recently had one performed at the local BMW dealership on my 335is.
