I have money saved up and am going to purchase a supercharge for my 2010 M3, (E92,DCT). I am looking for someone around Denver, CO to do an install? (if there is nobody who is close and good i am more than happy to road trip). Do any of you guys know who does a good job and can I get some pro's and con's on different chargers? Thank you guys for your help!!!

Do I dare say, or is someone going to try to rip me for that amount? I have enough to do any SC that I have looked at + about 3k. Maybe for install? Do you have an idea or what?

Do a road trip out to LA and have the boys at Gintani install their kit for you, they have a dyno there as well so you can get everything done in one place.

but then Gintani can go from 15-25k, depending on the kit ESS can also get near 20k G power is about 19k retail 10k vs 19k is a big difference, don't you agree? But the ESS 535 kit, although great, will leave you wanting for more power (from what I've heard and read at least)

Call all the Companies you like speak with them. Ask if they have a Dealer near you who could do a install and your ready. Some Pros better gas mileage and you'll be faster. Cons will need new tires faster lol.

the only cons to a supercharger are the cost and potential imprisonment. gas mileage is the same under normal driving, but is a bit worse under spirited driving (the extra power obviously doesn't just come out of thin air).
there are a lot more pros though. I have the ESS 575 kit, and I can confidently say that I don't crave any more power. it's scary fast. unless you fit 305s or bigger in the rear, you won't have enough grip to put that kind of firepower down at any legal speed. I can't recommend the supercharger enough - you have to experience it to understand what everyone is talking about. if you have it in your budget, there's no excuse not to get it. just do your research before deciding which kit is right for you. plenty of info available on this forum. below are a couple more detailed reviews I posted. good luck. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=496580 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=551151 |

Here's the various ESS kits listed in the Dyno Database (www.bmwdynodatabase.com). I tried throwing out the outliers both top and bottom. All of these results come from a Dynojet with SAE correction.
ESS VT1-535 (~7 results): 454-490whp, 301-326wtq http://www.****************/DynoDB.ph...1&EngFIOpts=60 ESS VT2-575 (~4 results): 455-481whp, 297-311wtq http://www.****************/DynoDB.ph...1&EngFIOpts=61 ESS VT2-600 (~10 results): 510-580whp, 328-372wtq http://www.****************/DynoDB.ph...1&EngFIOpts=89 ESS VT2-625 (~5 results): 558-594whp, 375-381wtq http://www.****************/DynoDB.ph...&EngFIOpts=146 ESS VT2-650 (1 result): 604whp, 386wtq http://www.****************/DynoDB.ph...&EngFIOpts=153 |

Shot me a pm if you need any help. We offer car transport and would be more than happy to get your M sent up here for the install. We use two BMW master techs for the SC install that have installed the most ESS kits in the US.
Thanks

You should look into doing the ESS kit. If you are on a budget you can have a VT1-535 installed for less than 10K or if you want big power they have options up to VT2-650. From the looks of DSLJ5's motor build thread it looks like very soon they will have extreme setups available also.
