I don't think that's a typo. It's probably gonna have a P31 performance like package available with the "S" trim. Like most AMG cars do, the option for more power...for a couple more grand...on top of a lot of money already.

never been a SLS fan. the only thing i liked about the old one was the engine. AND i also drove a SLS on the track.

This should be quite different from the SLS overall. The target market is the 911S, AM Vantage, Audi R8, Jag F V8. Pricing is in the $100-120k range, similar to the competiton. Should be able to get the top model nicely optioned for under $150k.

I love the look and the sound, and from what I see, the performance won't exactly suck either.

i find the front really ugly.. back is ok but front headlight look weird to me. The AM still looks much better when it come to styling and so does the F-type and R8. i think this car will be an m6 rival mostly

I agree its not a SLS, although IMO it looks like one. I wasn't a big fan of the SLS look. So i don't like this one either.

I do however think this engine will be a better pick over the latest M engines.

again for me the looks just dont do it.

Love it. Mercedes is absolutley knocking their cars out of the park lately...

Will see how it compares to the benchmark 911S...not sure I'd buy it over a 911S/GT3 if its going to be in the ~120K price range, but looks like a great car.

Yeah....pretty safe to say it's still a typo though. 0 to 310 kph in 3.8 seconds is a little hard to swallow.

a = v/t = ( 310 km/h * 1000 m/km * 1 / 60 h/m * 1 / 60 m/s ) / 3.8 s = 22.66 m/s^2
g = 22.66 m/s^2 / 9.8 m/s^2 = 2.31 Gs

So, it's acceleration to top speed is about halfway between the Bugatti Veyron's 0-60 and the Space Shuttle...

to me this looks a bit like the old E89 Z4 married to a SLS.

Take note, performance wise, the new C63 (5.5L) will be in this performance range, dial down a bit...

you're likely right, it'll be in the price range up to about $130k. Hurry, if you sell the Avalon now, you only need to scrape together another $125k to get in this!
