Bay Area: Recommend a shop for rod bearings

For those of you who have had your rod bearings changed, can you comment on your experience?

What should I expect to pay for RB and motor mount replacement? TIA.

Silicon valley bimmer did mine. They did a good job.

SV Bimmer did mine along with spark plugs. Overall a great experience.

Ray (Playskool1) also does it out of his garage and he's cheaper, but also good.

I just had mine done at VT Motorworks in Pleasanton. Matt is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me land on the right parts to get my DD e92 ready for occasional track days.

I can't remember what it was exactly off the top of my head, I just remember it was way cheaper than what Edge quoted me lol Just call them and they'll give it to you. Had my car there all last week for suspension work and track prep. Matt and Wing are as good as they come.

I had Ray do it. I was just curious. I reached out to Dan awhile back but he said he has more experience with the s54, not as much on the s65.
