No, cause you don't get max torque at 1500 rpm

Yah this is going to be a great kit and price will probably dictate whether I and others keep the E9X M3 and twin turbo them, or if the price is high ill just put that money toward an M4.

Used E9X's will run half that. Some already do. Because which would you rather have? A TT I6 or a high-revving TT S65? I guess this is always in the eye of the beholder. I also believe that pricing will be relatively reasonable for this kit. This isn't Gintani's first rodeo, and I'm sure they wouldn't release this product without taking the product life cycle into consideration. I don't think it's too late at all. If anything, it has made me rethink whether or not to ditch my 2012 at the end of the lease term. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the new F8X M will be an amazing car. I'll definitely have to drive one to know!

So it seems that both turbos are not the same size so this could be a sequential or series style setup where the larger turbo comes on at a higher RPM while the smaller is used to build off idle torque. This could mean that the factory headers are utilized and then merged into a smaller manifold that can divert exhaust on demand to either turbo based upon RPM or pressure. I can't see one bank of cylinders feeding a small turbo and the opposite bank feeding a larger one.

what?? the turbos are def the same size and they realized a teaser pic that you can tell is a manifold so no OEM header. Also a sequential setup would only work in sequence, not on sep cylinder banks. |

hopefully these 3 things are met. 1) good power numbers 2) reliability 3) cost

Moving towards a release. There is still hope? Hmmm, one statement sounds like a final testing stage and the other statement sounds like we think this may work. I was thinking this was a done deal without need for hope. Well, I hope this is a done deal and you guys are just tweaking the tune rather than exploring the possibilities :-)
We believe in yah, make it happen. |

I think he was implying that life is being brought back to the E92/E90 M3's as we approach the end of the model's lifespan. A TT kit will definitely do that! |

I hope this works out well, but don't rush the package. I'm sure this was a PR move to get the word out before people started dropping E92s for the new car, but we all understand a TT move for the high compression S65 is a monster of a mod, especially for reliability. Please take the time to run your test cars to death and it will pay off to us gearheads. Not trying to be a business consultant..lol.
Cheers

Does the first post say they have been running a turbo setup on their shop car for 6 months or that the shop car has simply been running in some form (stock?) for the past 6 months?

They also said soon which to a 5 year old waiting to blow the candles out means more than a few minutes and they'll be practically ready to vomit from the anticipation. I would submit this is not unlike the feeling of many an owner here. lol Then again I may only be speaking for myself...
