I have recently had my m3 make a whining noise when planting my foot in a straight line in M mode….. it sounded like I had a supercharger lol! (Unfortunately I do not) Has anyone experienced similar or know what it could be? No noise at all when normally driving about… |

I had this and it turned out to be a leaking donut gasket between the headers and cats. Only happened under heavy throttle.

If the whine is from the front and correlates to throttle input, high chance it is this:

I'm having the same exact problem and noticed it twice. In my case, I started having that sound after I drove 90mph+ and once it occurred it was consistent even at low acceleration or any acceleration. But it only occurred during acceleration. Have you found a fix for this yet? Thanks! |
