Lemans 09 with few options vs Silver 08 with many options?? What do you think?

Hey guys,
I have a small dilemma, which isnt really a problem since it concerns buying a M3. Good problem to have i guess.

Anywho, the cars: E92 coupes

lets start with the 08'
  • Silver
  • DCT
  • Prem Pkg
  • Extended leather
  • Carbon Trim
  • 18s
  • Technology pkg
  • Cold Weather pkg
  • Park Distance
  • Pwr sunshade
  • Ipod/usb cable
  • Hd Radio
  • Sattelite radio
  • Enhanced premium sound

The 09
  • LeMans Blue
  • DCT
  • Prem Pkg
  • Carbon Trim
  • 19s
  • Heated seats
  • Ipod/usb cable

So, heres my thing.

08 msrp is toughly 72.3k, i can get it for as much as the 09 for around 62k.
Im not a fan of silver, but the car just has way more options the the 09. It is indeed more car for the money. Is it worth it to get the 08? I know ultimately it is my choice, but would welcome any input.
Thanks guys

First of all e90 or e92? Secondly, the extended leather is pointless in an M3 in my opinion. I love Le Mans blue, but the technology package with EDC is a must. Also I become rather spoiled by the park distance and satellite radio. If it were me I'd go with the silver, that color with 18"s is a beautiful car. In fact, there's a guy who lives pretty close to me with that color combo on an e92M and I'm envious every time I see it.

No nav on 09?
I say 08 then.
New iDrive is a lot better than old ones in 08 but since that's not an issue, i would say go with 08.

And you dont have to love silver cuz you'll never get bored in silver either.

IMO, most of the options on the 08 don't really matter. Satellite radio, extended leather, cold weather, power sunshade, PDC, etc.

If the 09 had the tech package, I would go for that one in a heartbeat. But I guess it comes down to which options are you willing to live without?

If you're not happy with either car then I suggest waiting. There are, and will be, better deals out there.

i would say 100% for the Le Mans Blue if u had the tech package

as of now, the silver is more is better over all, but the Le Mans looks ways sicker with the Forged 19"s and the le mans blue exterior

+1 Get the 08. One of the perks of the 09 is the new Idrive but you won't get it.

i would side with the 08 if only because the 09 isnt that great a deal discount wise. i actually like the option set on the 09, that's pretty much how i would do it if i ordered one (minus the dct), but a lot of ppl on here seem to really care about edc/tech etc, which i have been more than fine without
