Shift Boot for RTD Shifter

I was curious to know if the stock shift boot and the rubber boot underneath fit with the RTD short shifter?

If not, what does everyone do to cover it? I thought I saw a stock shift boot work but there was another forum post where the guy had to cut apart the rubber shift boot underneath to get it to fit.

Any help would be appreciated!

The e9x doesn’t work. RTD suggested e46 one. I tried it and found it too thick, it almost seems like the gear can pop out. I trimmed a piece of rubber from a tire tube, and sandwiched it between the shifter and body. It seals great and cut down transmission whining more than half

I appreciate it! I'll have to see if I can find something to work for that. Shift boot works fine though?

Yes shift boot can fit fine, and will help with wind entering the cabin! I decided to run another style of cover without boot for looks
