Alpine white VS Jet Black

Hello M3 Post

I have been trying to figure out which color to get for quite a while i feel both colors are amazing the white color really brings out the beautiful curvature of the car and the black looks amazing when its completely blacked out at night.
i Already decided that i would want the interior to be Fox red extended with a carbon fiber trim so now all that is left is the exterior.

So please give your opinions

oh and by the way this post is amazing its has everything about the beautiful ///M

Oh and By the way Im not n that big of a rush since I'm planning on ordering it in July =)

If it's extended fox red leather then I'd go with AW. I was in the same situation too, but now it's more like jet black vs space gray.

Jet black for sure. Nothing looks better than a shiney black car. Although i think the m3 looks good in every color, white just doesnt do it for me...makes me feel like its a blank canvas.

Go with the Jet Black. IMO, the AW is a bit played out.

However, the Space Grey is fantastic and will look great with Fox Red interior.

I own a Jet Black.

I think AW is only played out on the forum.

LOL! Keeping Jet Black clean is a Biatch...but the results are amazing (even if there only for 10 minutes..LOL).

I think the Space Grey is a good in between...

I've got JB with FR Extended and love it. Great combo. Black is a bit harder to take care of, but when clean, it's stunning.

got JB 135i, would've got space grey if it were available in MY08.
E92=AW E90=JB
AW makes the cf roof really pop....as does space grey

go for space grey with fox red. best of both world. a clean space grey has that sick shines in bright sun, sick at night, and easy to clean.

white is played out and not very good looing in real life IMO (although good in pictures). Jet black is sick in real life when clean, but you need to be a clean whore to maintain it.

If you don't like grey, then jet black first, then white.

I once had this dilemna on my 335, I chose black. I wish I chose AW

Go with the color that you can live with for a while. Its not a pair of shoes or shirt that you can choose not to wear. The whole "played out" term is "played out".

One off colors are great but they wear out their novelty after a little while and then you are just stuck with the car and color. Black is excellent, 5 mintues after a wash but 20 minutes after that, no so much unless you just leave it in your garage and admire it. A clean black beats a clean white but those time frames are very limited.

I had a jet black E46 M3 and it was a nightmare. Get AW even though it's "played out". The reason it's so popular is because it looks the best. Nothing wrong with that.

Space Grey is also a really nice alternative.

Gray looks nicer on bigger vehicles, 7 series etc for BMWs. Infact astons look sick in that space grey color they come with. (i think its called casino royale - the grey DBS used in the movie

)

AW has been the racing color for german race car teams

Rossa Corsa (RED) for the Italians

British Racing Green for the British...duh

And Blue for the French!

And the AW is a hot color, its the new black!

Easiest to maintain, stands out at night, and shines during the day!

If you are getting black or FR interior get AW!

How can a color be "played out" AW is BMW's racing color, never played out.
