Stopped by the local dealer to pick up coolant. Had a good look at the m4 cs, m850i, z4m40i. Was surprised how orange peely some of the paint jobs looked. For $120k I wouldn't be happy with the quality, maybe it was the showroom lights🤨. Now going home to flush the coolant and replace the cracked hose that runs from the water pump housing to the reservoir.

Yessir. My first attempt I did not, and I lost a glup-glup (my precise way of saying about 1/10th of a liter, ha) out of the fill port before I could throw the plug back in. Lesson learned. Today I got more tilt, did the rev step, and was able to add back in what I lost plus about a half liter.

I only have the front scoop and right side cover.. The body shop guy had to do a lot of sanding to get all the pinholes out but I think it was well worth the effort.. I have an Eventuri plenum on order and will probably do the same thing to the finish. |

Had the rear bearings replaced. On the way home from picking it up TA decided to die. When it rains it pours, may be time to sell the damn thing

You still have the one with the blue/red color combo? Maybe it finally went insane from that and things are going to start breaking?

Older F series m6's are getting cheap. If you can stand the look it's a lot of car for $45k. Twin turbo V8!

Yea it’s definitely a robust car lol 3900lbs I think. M4s are around that price too. They don’t seem TOO bad I mean they sound like trash and took a shot of novocaine but other than that not bad

Hell no! Bearings and TAs, now the car is bulletproof for ya! But that is some shit timing. At least there’s no labor overlap.

I did the rear wheel bearings not the rod bearings. I started it myself was going to bring the whole unit and have the bearings pressed out and new ones pressed in but the spindles were not coming off the axles no matter what so I gave up and had a shop I know do the job. Even shop couldn’t punch them with out an air hammer. The TA I’ll do myself...AGAIN. Just tired of chasing problems instead of driving the damn car

Took it and the wife to a drive-in. It's been a lot of years since I have been to one!
