255/35/19 RE-11 rubbing bad up front
So I just noticed my 255/35/19 RE11s up front on my SDC F14 Forgestar 9.5 inch wheels are rubbing pretty good.
They rub so bad on one turn that the bumper moves a little bit!! Help me pick out a new tire size and new tire. Don't think I wanna go AD08R, a bit too much for the street. Maybe the Kuhmo PS91 in 275/30/19 square??

does it really? 30/35 is the ratio... so with a wider tire a 30 sidewall isn't entirely shorter.
Google tire size calculator. that way you can really see the dimensions/measurements |

Tire size is fine, pretty standard. It's the offset or raise your ride height

The sidewall is an aspect ratio, meaning it is a relative number, not absolute.
275/30R19 means "the sidewall is 30% of the tire's 275mm width" (82.5mm) 255/35R19 means "the sidewall is 35% of the tire's 255 mm width" (89.25mm) However, you also have more tire sticking into the wheel well now, so if you're rubbing, it might make things even worse. Without posting the wheel offset and suspension setup, everything is going to be a guess. Also, posting this in the wrong forum won't help get you answers quickly. You don't want AD08Rs for the street. Very poor ride quality (I know from experience) and you won't even be able to use 100% of its performance on public roads anyway. Go for something more reasonable like the Pilot Super Sport, Potenza S04, Conti DW, etc.

They are Foregatar 19x9.5 in front I believe 17 offset!
Lowered on TCK DA coilovers with a one inch gap up front! I was thinking about the Ecsta PS91 which apparently is an almost exact copy of the PSS with 1/2 the price... Take a read on them! Maybe I'll do 265/30/19 up front and 285/30/19 out back. |

That's not going to fix anything
That is a very aggressive offset. Stock zcp front offset is 19x9 et 31. You have 19x9.5 et17. This is a 21.5mm difference, equivalent to running a 21.5mm spacer on the oem zcp wheel which will never fit without rubbing Maybe you can run some super stretched tires, but I doubt that will fit. You need to take some actual measurements and not randomly guess. Also, you probably need to raise your car up. |

Or just sell those wheels + tires and buy a set that fits. That width and offset is not a good fit for the M3.
Rubbing that severely could cause a dangerous blowout. Tires are a safety item.

It's more likely how much they stick out. You need to raise the car, run more camber, or get new wheels. Tires won't do much imo. |

I ran a RE-11 265/35/19 up front 19x9 with offset of 25 very little rub
I am running 245/35/19 with same rim little rub. Probably going to back to 265 once the 245 wears down. I also have more camber on now then before and it may rub not sure, yet. hope that helps. |

I'm running F14 SDCs 9.5" ET18 up front with 265/30/19 PSS and i'm lowered on KW HAS with no rubbing at all. When people say it's too aggressive... Don't listen.

It's a very aggressive tire for a street car. Unless you are tracking it often and don't want to swap your wheels out, I think it's overkill. Something milder like the PSS or S04 would be more than adequate.
