Track Instructor Eddie Nakato TEST DRIVES the HPF M3 at PIR - VIDEO
Eddie Nakato test drove the HPF Turbo M3 at PIR (Portland International Raceway) on August 9, 2010. We're working with him to get the car ready for the Global Tuner Grand Prix at Laguna Seca October 22-24. http://www.globaltunergp.com/
Here's a video of our last session in the Advanced group. You can see from the video that we need to run the car on days where there is less traffic. We're making a ton of changes to the car to make it even faster before the event, so we will be getting the car to the track again in a couple weeks. P.S. This is an HPF Stage 3 at the low boost setting tuned for race gas (18psi - roughly 700rwhp) |

That car would be awesome on the ring. What sort of speed was he going on the straightaway the couple of times without traffic? That engine sounds like a jet at WOT.

He was hitting 150mph at the ends of the front and rear straights as per the VBOX. I also love the sound this car makes . The car is running the HPF stage 3 turbo system and makes 700rwhp at low boost (18psi). We widened the car 11 inches and got the car down to 3127 lbs with a full cage.

One has to wonder why he was not in the advance group though. The car looks and sounds surreal.. Particularly when it is coming behind you at full speed.
