Low Profile Jack on Sale
For those of you looking for a new jack, I recently picked this up on sale:
http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/mo...0226p.html#srp I was waiting for this thing to go on sale for a while, and I don't believe I've seen it cheaper. It's heavy and hard to move around, but it's great if you're simply looking to perform DIYs in your garage. Best part is, it has no issue reaching the center jacking point on my stock E90 M3 . I was able to get the car on jack stands within minutes. |

This is a really damn good deal because this is the one that extends further inwards. It's probably the best jack you can use, works great on lowered GT4/GT3 Porsches also.

The lift range is among the lowest I've seen. It would not have any issue with lowered cars, and like I said, it can reach the center jacking point on my E90 with ease. It lifts quickly with little to no effort. My only complaint with the jack is the sensitivity of the release. Lowering the car slowly is tricky given how sensitive the release valve is. |

exact same as my HF jack that they no longer sell. Its a good jack, but downsides are :
1. the handle is too short, so takes a little more effort that normal jack to get it up. 2. The release knob is sensitive, and the screw that holds the release knob like to fall out on its own. But this is the lowest profile jack i have seen, and the long reach helps to get it in hard to reach areas on lower cars. Well worth the price.

For someone looking for a low profile, reliable/durable jack that won't break the bank - this is the one 0090226 (especially on sale). I've had this one for about 2 to 3 years now and perform several services and repairs in the garage and it hasn't let me know down yet!
My place is where all my friends and family come to swap over tires between seasons and this thing has kept up well. Only complaints for me would be like stated before: - It's a bit heavy but once you get it home and out of the package, you're good. You can really tell the materials used in the construction are high quality. - The release is more sensitive than I'd like but something to get used to and not a deal breaker.
