Nowhere near as good looking of a car, nor would it sound as good.

I will never buy from Forgestar or EAS again after my nightmare wheel purchase.

Gives you a rough idea. Just your basic camo and nothing that actually hides the look of the car. Its gonna be just like the SLS, only a younger less mature version. Not as good looking imo.

my dealer let me take one home for 24 hours..........and let me tell you its fucking AMAZING.

it was a standard F-Type (not S or R) convertible....ive never had more fun in a car (except when driving a gallardo/murcielago). It wasnt stupid fast considering it was a V6....but it moved extremely well. the 8AT may be the same as the one in the BMW.

handled very well.....it is rather comfortable for a sports car......and the sound....HOLY COW the sound. who ever tunes the exhaust for Jags needs a round of applause. he really brings out the soul of the car.

looks: i got a hell of a lot of compliments. it was a bright red car so that didnt help me fly under the radar. a lot of people were confused about what it was, asked if it was a maserati.

would I consider getting it? im not sure. right now they're leasing rather high. the 6 cylinder model would be considerable if you're looking for a fun weekend roadster...but once you start going up the ladder you start stepping into XK territory and you start to question whether you want the sporty F or the more practical grand tourer XK

Chris Harris' review of the F-Type Coupe

And yes, the designers of the F-Type coupe deserves a round of applause. It's an extremely beautiful contemporary iteration of the E-Type.

The only things that bother me about the car based on what I've seen from videos, is the badge on the deployable rear spoiler, the retractable A/C vents in the middle of the dash, and the handle grip on the passenger side which somewhat hinders the passenger's access to the console. As Harris once pointed out, it's a bit unnecessary. The Jags exterior design is actually a simple one. It looks amazing because it's a refined design that communicates exactly what it needs to. (Reminds me of Apple's design language with their products). With that being said, I think they should've designed the interior in the same way.

Hard to tell if Chris liked it or not.
Love this car and word of a manual in a year or two.

That would be about as good as I could ever want in a sports car. Looks, sound, some what luxurious, rear storage and more looks.

I have always been a 911 fan but this makes it look like an antique. That's not a bad thing but is what it is.

He wouldn't shut up about how great the gearbox is, no need to wait.

Even if you're not interested in the car, Harris' review is worth watching for all the on track driving at the end. Good stuff.

Gonzo, I'm assuming you're being a 'little' sarcastic re: whether Chris Harris "liked the car or not", lol because he was obviously very smitten with it.

Personally I am torn between two cars for my next purchase: 2015 Z06 with the Z07 package or a loaded R Type Coupe. I wish they were both available now to drive to be honest.

Damn that actually is a tough choice. How much is the coupe supposed to cost?

Pretty different coupes right there.

Personally, I'm not sure I'd pick the Jag over a 991C2S still (granted there's a price difference).
- Lack of dealerships
- Reliability? Haven't followed Jag in a few years
- Depreciation

Both cars I can't afford anyway so moot point I guess

Points to consider^.

Jag store close to me and I don't read of the newer products from them having the ghosts in the machine of past cars.
Slow navigation and what have you do not concern me with a f type coupe.

My build was 102,100.
A C2S, which I love, will click in at 118 - 122...manual.
That manual bit is a big deal but the car just has my complete attention without. No golf clubs in the P is a negative on the small issue scale.
Being a little exclusive, knock on wood they're not everywhere, would be nice too.
100 is a chunk of change but it comes off as a lot of car for that 100.

And it's freaking gorgeous.
