Since pulling my car out of winter storage a week ago, my intake elbow has popped off 4 times! I'm afraid to drive hard or downshift and I'm constantly popping my hood to make sure it's still on. I've even started carrying the neccessary tools to get it back on when I'm away from home.

Intake has been reinstalled and I've tried various tightness on the clamps, all to no avail.
It's a poorly designed piece of shit. And that's being generous. Mine had the same issues. Got rid of it awhile ago and have not looked back. The marginal to non-existent power gain isn't worth the potential risk to the engine of sucking in unfiltered air every time the elbow pops off.

OP, please email me directly (if purchased from us) and I will have this exchanged for you immediately.
I think it may be too late for that. If you knew that the older versions would do that why not inform the mass population and replace do to a mishap on your part?

Sorry for your loss. I had an issue with the test pipe fitment and they had to drill the holes out that connect to the headers. Wasn't very happy but I figure with aftermarket it will never be perfect. Oh, and it took them 2 months to send me a tow strap and DIF adapter.
