Talking For those less fortunate...

For the individuals (like myself) who will not be able to purchase an E92 M3 for awhile. (got kids?)
I had the distinct pleasure to get behind the wheel of one a week ago thru participating in the Susan G. Komen (my mother is a breast cancer survivor) Ultimate drive event held in Palm Harbor, FL.
If this event is touring in your city, take the opportunity to sign up as a guest.
I personally, will not forget the fun I had taking it for a few spins around town.
Thanks again Mom for inviting me!

Sounds like you had fun. I can not wait to give it a spin. What struck you the most about the car?

Have some of this and it will ease the withdrawal pain (assuming you're 21 and not driving soon).

Cheers, fellow wine lover! I'm actually having a good Oregon pinot now. But your drink doesn't match you sig, like my suggestion. Got to get a "Monsta" wine.

I am a wine fan as well. Just rocking the J&C now.

I wish I could hibernate for about 6 weeks.

Generally, I like Inglenook and Paul Masson (pretty cheap), but some of the best wines I had were Australian. Far from an expert, but I'm getting there

I found that price rarely has any effect on quality or taste, but it could be that my taste is out of tune.

My take...

The main point that stuck out while driving, was the engine sound above 4,500 rpm...much more of a pronounced "whale" rather than the metallic resonace of the E46 M3 (I own a 2003). It seemed rather bored at low rpms and urged you to go faster. I would love the opportunity to go track one in the future. (really did not get the opportunity to witness the handling)
I agree with some observers that the car has grown up to more of a GT than in previous models. My father owns a E30 with 95k on it (he is the original owner).(I also own a E36 sedan '07).

I would like to see some reviews of new owners who will soon track their E92's.

Good to see that you are lover of the grape as well...I like the pic!

When gnawing on a good steak, I usually go with a good Amarone (Tomassi or Bertani), Super tuscan wines are also my favorites.
One Cal wine I have grown an affinity for is Quintessa, much fuller and better finish than Opus and Stags Leap Cask 23 (in my opinion).
Since the US arrival of the E92 M3 though...I have resorted to drinking heavier spirits to quell my anxiety. I too love the single malts! (Lagavulen, Macallan & Glenroth's)

Since my depression has gotten worst...I ocassionally down a shot of Patron Anejo' while "hiding" from my Wife and kiddies.

All the best! Cheers!

if you haven't done so yet, try Penfolds Bin 52 from Australia. Another inexpensive one is Black Opal and of course, Greg Norman's wines are not bad either.. all from Australia.
