Looking for a budget winter wheel setup..

..and before anyone scoffs at my use of the word "budget", I wanted to add that I don't care about looks (to some extent). I know there is always a chance of the wheels getting curb rashed or damaged in the winter and they will only be on the car for 4 months out of the year, so I don't want to spend $2000+ on a winter wheel setup. I was honestly hoping to pick up a used set someone doesn't need anymore with some nice Blizzaks w/ decent tread left, but living in Germany, most people will not ship to my APO or home address and these deals usually go too quick for me to jump on them.

My max budget is $1500.00 shipped to my APO w/ TPMS sensors, cheaper if possible. Any ideas? I know Tire Rack has the deal on a winter tire/wheel setup with the A7's (or whatever they are) but I don't particularly like the look of them. I was hoping to stick to the ZCP style wheel, or at least something a little nicer looking than the A7.

Here are a few sets I was looking at. Would any of these work well for a decent winter setup on an E90 M3?

Apex Wheels with some cheap tires will be close. I have heard of people getting some good discounts. Might be worth a call. Inexpensive nice looking wheels.

Just a heads up, the user that was selling both those sets on eBay is also on here. His username is 05Mdriver, I actually bought my winter set off of him, great seller. He regularly posts in the wheel/tires classifieds. (You'll notice that set of CH-R wheels on eBay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/MINT-Brand-N...3D291283232698, is this exact set in the classifieds: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1048823). It might be worth a shot to PM him and see what he has available for the M3.

Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't aware they were the same person, but I am familiar with 05Mdriver on here. I was going to buy his Beyern set he had up for sale, but I snoozed...and lost.

I'm not 100% they're the same person, so I'd double check, but by putting 2+2 together, I kinda figured they were. Same area, same wheels for sale, similar pictures, etc.
